Wonder, a music icon in his own right with 22 Grammys and 11 American Music Awards up his sleeve, will hit the stage at the 40th AMAs in a tribute to the award ceremony's late creator, according to Dick Clark Productions. Clark created the AMAs for the ABC network in 1973 with nominations based on sales and the amount of airtime musicians received across all media platforms, instead of votes from entertainment industry professionals like with the Grammys.
